Bespoke SEND provision for Early Years Settings
"We have children attend who make quite linear progress, where it is often difficult to identify motivators or interest that promote early development of shared attention, pre-communication and interaction skills. But then, every Tuesday morning we see a significant difference in the same reluctant children, who have auditory processing difficulties and tend to be avoidant.
After six-weeks of musical play classes they have become engaged in the musical activities and display skills that had not yet been observed at nursery.
The motivators used to engage the children have always been inspirational with relevant resources. The children have thrived under Rachel's praise and encouragement and her boundless enthusiasm has seen an anticipation in children who can’t wait for her arrival.
We love that she has taken the time to get to know the cohort really well, follow their progress and share observations with practitioners.
Rachel's genuine interest in the children’s progress has also influenced staff to become involved and drop any inhibitions they may have had. There is an atmosphere of fun and merriment throughout the team as they don’t mind being ‘silly’ in order to engage a child and capture a teaching moment." - Samantha Paul (Manager and SENCo at KIDS Family Centre, Wylde Green).

SEND Programme and Family Support Classes
"Rachel’s expertise has helped us so much as a family. To have someone who understands more than any professional we have encountered has helped us in more ways than any therapy, classes, zooms etc. We have been able to learn skills that actually support my son's stages of development and have seen progress where the other methods we have been advised to try, we have not...
It’s been a lifeline for us, we have been able to meet, interact and grow with families just like ours where we all support each other and learn about our children’s individual needs.
His progress since attending SEN classes has been unbelievable. From a child who could barely make noises to having a massive increase in motor planning skills to be able to watch and copy my mouth when singing words such as “mama” is incredible." - Georgina (Parent) Attendee of SEND programme and SEND Family Support Classes.
